Marcasite Earrings Barcelo

This flower is an iconic symbol of Barcelona that can, firstly, be found on the streets of Barcelona, on flower tiles called Panot. It was designed by Modernist architect Josep Puig i Cadafalch (1867-1956), when projecting Casa Amatller, a famous building in Barcelona. The Barcelona flower may have been chosen to symbolize a four-petaled almond blossom (in catalan flor de l'amatller) in reference to the owner's surname.
