Celtic Knot is a mystic knot as it is endless with no beginning or end. It is very ancient ornament that the celts were drawing long before Christ, used in cave paintings, different ornaments of home decors and jewelry. Historically there were presence of the celts (called the celtiberians) in the territory of Spain.
There are four main types of the Celtic knots and this one specifically is called Triquetra or Trinity Knot. It is the most popular of them associating the Holy Trinity, but there are lots more symbolic meanings as the tree phases of life, three domains (earth, se and sky), three elements etc.
