Angel Caller Llamador de Angeles Violeta

An ancient legend tells that before thousands of years some wood fairies had to run away from the wood they lived, hence angels gave them amulets for protection. Angels told them that at any moment when they feel unprotected or in danger, they shall ring the bell and angels will be there instantly to protect them.

Angel callers are known in many world’s cultures, including the Maya in Latinamerica, Indonesia, Mexico, Spain etc.

Each angel caller contains a small ball inside, and when shaked, it makes gentle and calming sound, slightly different to each angel caller. Another legend tells that this sound is magic, because it can attract the Guardian Angel of the person that would protect and guide him throughout person’s whole life. Therefore nowadays very often they are worn by mothers-to-be to protect the baby, and when the child is born it is passed to him or her as an amulet.

This angel caller has received blessings of the Virgin of Montserrat, and it is very powerful.
